We have ventured far and wide to some spectacular locations and have met some truly inspiring people along the way, all in the name of telling stories that are intellectually stimulating, visually appealing and globally relevant.
Landfall has cut it's teeth in the world of broadcast documentary, but for us, scripted film production is where it all began; We have a growing slate of commercial and editorial work.
Daniel Nikolaison - Director
Daniel is a documentary cinematographer, producer, director and editor and the founder of Landfall Media. Recent work includes China on Film; a two-part documentary special uncovering a cache of historic, pre-revolution Chinese archive film footage, City 2 City, a branded content series of grass roots football stories for Manchester City F.C and Iran's Water Crisis for Al Jazeera's People & Power.
Daniel has filmed internationally in countless locations and has particular expertise operating in challenging environments.
Daniel graduated with a BFA in film-making from Canterbury University School of Fine Arts in 2003 and is now based in London.
Ian Hart - Producer
Ian is a highly experienced Producer and Director who has a particular flair for research and development, producing broadcast documentary programmes from inception to delivery. After 8 years working at Travel Channel International, producing all nature of content across all continents, his recent work includes; story producer on the international franchise Real Housewives for Bravo Network and director on an upcoming Netflix Original documentary series.
Ian graduated with straight A's from South Seas Film and Television School in 1998 and is now based in London, joining Landfall in 2017.
Jessica MacCormick - New Media
Jessica's academic background in Anthropology, her vast commercial experience in digital strategy, working with such brands as Facebook and Google and her incredible growing portfolio of portrait and documentary photography make for an exciting addition to the Landfall team.
